Hi! I just started following you tonight (which means I just spent all night looking through all your posts [:) and I was just wondering if you had any ideas for Christmas presents from one broke college student to another. I've been feeling extremely crafty lately and it's that time of the year! Hope your holidays are kicking off swimmingly!

I would first have to ask, what does this particular friend like? Their personality and likes/dislikes are going to dictate the type of gift. Me, I’m destined to feed the world one friend at a time. This year I’m going with “gifts in a jar.” Easy. Economical. Who doesn’t like food? Here’s a recipe for Pasta Fagioli Soup Mix from Taste of Home. (And it looks great in the jar!)
Here’s some more ideas for food gifts. Or maybe bake them your favorite cookie! (I’m notorious for my chocolate chip cookies.) Now if you’re not the foodie type. Why not offer to clean their place? Or wash their windows?
I hate to get philosophical, but you don’t HAVE to spend money. I think this time of year we all get caught up in the hoopla and we forget what really matters. Friends and family.
My holidays are definitely in full swing and I’m excited to share my DIY’s with all of those who follow my blog. Hopefully this weekend I’ll make some progress and being posting next week!
